New generation fire extinguishers
Family of fire extinguishers OP series is a new generation device for efficient extinguishing of inflamed substances and items of various purposes. The capacity of the items varies within 1 to 70 kilos. This number is specified in the title after the brand, for example, OP 5. Models over 5, 10 kilos are the most popular.
Powder fire extinguishers function on the principle of blocking inflamed substances and materials from oxygen sustaining combustion by means of incombustible fine powder. Compressed air blows the powder outside under pressure.
The product is design to eliminate combustion occurrences of gaseous or liquid substances, or solid smoldering materials, eliminate the combustion of the power plants not more than 1,000 V.
Model of the fire fighting device defines transportability of the equipment
- Portable backpack up to 20 kilos;
- Movable 20 to 400 kilos;
- Stationary over 400 kilos.
Depending on the type, their fire-fighting capacity, volume, mass and envelope dimensions distinguish fire-extinguishing means. Operating pressure and expiration are the same for all types: 1.4 (14) MPa (kgf/cm²) and 10 years accordingly. The family is intended for multiple use.

- Variability of application (gases, solid materials, combustible liquids);
- Flame extinguishing in vicinity (powder cloud works as a shield when formed allowing approaching the combustion source closely);
- Convenient monitoring of the level of working capacity of the product by means of built-in manometer;
- Simplicity, storage time.
As per the fire safety requirements, fire extinguisher shall be subject to quarterly, annual maintenance to keep them ready for emergency use. Technical maintenance supposes scheduled inspections, repairs, checkups, reloading and tests.

Technicians are also competent in giving the device a reference number, marking it on the surface of the fire extinguisher, and record it in the fire extinguisher log.
